Source: http:/ (PRWEB) August 18, 2006 -- In an industry that stresses education and embraces diversity, The International Congress of Esthetics proves that it is a leading educator and advocate for acceptance through an ongoing partnership with the American Vitiligo Research Foundation. Through the Long Beach International Congress of Esthetics partnership, the AVRF will host an exhibitor booth at the educational conference and trade show on September 16th through the 18th. Vitiligo is a noncontagious skin disorder that does not discriminate between age, gender or race, and it results in pigment loss in various body areas. The pigment loss can be so severe that the patient suffers from low self-esteem and eventually must forgo sun exposure to avoid burning and blistering. The AVRF says it strives to raise awareness, educate and help patients live with a greater understanding and acceptance of vitligo. This is the second time this year that the AVRF has exhibited in The International Congress of Esthetics. The AVRF first hosted a booth at the South Beach International Congress of Esthetics, 2006. “Our partnership is important in an industry that embraces diversity and attempts to raise awareness among professionals. It seems fitting that we continue to have the AVRF exhibit at one of the largest educational conferences and trade shows,” says Laura Bazo, conference coordinator. “As a firm advocate of education, the International Congress of Esthetics wants to help raise awareness among professionals about a common skin disorder that affects millions of Americans. We are proud of our partnership with the AVRF, and our educational conference is the perfect forum for an organization such as the AVRF.” The AVRF will be at booth 1008 at the Long Beach International Congress of Esthetics, 2006, educational trade show and conference. The International Congress of Esthetics is the only industry educational conference and trade show to have an all-inclusive registration fee. Registration includes entrance to the exhibition hall, all General Session lectures and demonstrations, continuing education classes and all manufacturers’ workshops and exhibitors’ classes.
