MindGent Healthcare Clinics to Operate Minor Care Clinics in Medicine Shoppe® and Medicap Pharmacy® Stores

(MSI), will begin opening minor care clinics in select Medicine Shoppe® and Medicap Pharmacy® locations in 2006. With nearly 1,000 pharmacies in the United States, as well as 400 pharmacies internationally, this collaboration further establishes Medicine Shoppe and Medicap Pharmacy Stores as quality healthcare destinations, and MindGent Healthcare Clinics as an innovative provider of healthcare.

Nurse practitioners will treat common ailments such as ear infections, strep throat, pink eye, provide vaccinations, and perform sports and school physicals. They will also perform general wellness screenings for diabetes and blood pressure. Beckner anticipates MindGent Healthcare Clinics will open a minimum of 100 clinics over the next twelve months.
