1. Diagnostics
Patient receiving and pre-examination
Every patient is thoroughly examined at the very first visit. This examination is needed to record previous dental work, including fillings, replacements, implants, edentulous areas and the oral health condition of the patient. Further treatments will be based, planned and scheduled depending on the outcome of the first examination. The timetable and the order of further treatments will be fixed after the patient agrees to it. A quotation can only be sent after the list of planned treatments has been completed.
Oral examination, stomatooncologic screening
An all-round oral examination follows the pre-examination to record the exact health condition of the teeth, the tongue, the floor of the mouth and the oral mucous membrane. This examination also helps to diagnose precancerous or cancerous lesion.
X-ray diagnosis
A panoramic radiograph is made before every complicated treatment. It is beneficial to have a panoramic X-ray of every patient, because this enables the dentist to gather exact information about the condition of the bones, the maxillary sinus, and the mandibular joints and about unvisible lesions of root apexes.
Pre-denture cast preparation
The preparation of a pre-denture cast is important in case of abnormal anatomic conditions, significant occlusal disharmony, or other especially complicated cases. This is made before the intervention. The pre-denture cast helps the dentist and the dental technician to create a hard plaster model that will help them in planning and making the proper, fitting replacements.
Periodontal status report
Many patients have problems that are related to gum diseases and periodontal diseases. Nowadays, periodontal and gingival diseases are very common problems. Nearly every third patient is involved. The examination and correct treatment of the gingiva and the periodontium is vital in the success of the intervention.

2. Prevention
Local fluoride treatment
Fluoride strengthens the dental enamel and helps in the prevention of caries. Providing the teeth with adequate amount of fluoride can be done in several ways, one of these is local fluoride treatment. Using this method, the fluoride can be applied directly onto the teeth with the help of a fluoride gel.
Pit and fissure sealing
The most efficient way in preventing decay is the sealing of pits and fissures. This treatment is especially beneficial by children. The main reason for sealing the pits and fissures is that this handling covers the healthy pits and fissures with a special material and prevents plaque buildup on the surface of the teeth. This is essential in preventing caries.

3. Aesthetic dentistry
Whitening, bleaching
The discoloration of the teeth is a natural process. This process can be accelerated by other damaging impacts as well, such as smoking or drinking coffee, tea or red wine regularly. With the usage of whitening agents the color of the teeth can be bright white again. There are several different methods to whiten the teeth and the one we advise to our patients always depends on the patient's oral health condition.
Porcelain veneers
The restoration of the frontal teeth may require the use of porcelain shells called veneers. These are attached to the outer surface of the teeth and provide a perfect aesthetic look by covering the defective or discolored frontal teeth.
Procedure: At the consultation with the dentist a detailed dental plan will be produced for you which will show you the exact itinerary of your stay. Your veneers will be prepared in 3-5 days after the consultation by the dental technician. The length of your stay is depending on the complexity of the technical work. So if you want to plan your stay carefully, please plan your dental holiday for at least five days.
Please read our Draft Price Offer carefully. Our Partner Support Team will try to contact you on the phone and if you will have any questions we will try to answer them as best as we can. We need two weeks to make the arrangements. Our fee for organising your dental trip, negotiating with the dentists, booking your treatment and hosting you during your stay is 65 GBP as shown in our homepage.
Our prices are calculated in british pounds (GBP).
IMPORTANT!! To make an exact and precise calculation our experts need to have more exact input data. If you have a digital photo of your teeth, please email it to us. Having them we will be in the situation to finalise the draft price offer shown above. Usually a digital photo provides enough information for the dentist. Only if the dentist need to know more about your teeth you have to do the X-ray.

4. Dental conservation
Amalgam fillings
Traditional fillings made of silver amalgam. Used mostly for the treatment of molars and masticators. Amalgam fillings contain a small amount of mercury, but despite the controversy, these fillings are safe and do not endanger the health of patients.
Aesthetic fillings
These are so-called composite fillings that may be placed into frontal and masticatory teeth as well. Applying aesthetic fillings restores the original shape and color of the teeth. These are plastic pastes that are filled into the teeth and solidify there. Depending on the solidification, aesthetic fillings are divided into two groups. The first group of aesthetic filling materials uses a chemical catalyst to solidify. The other, more commonly used type hardens after fotopolimerization. In this case, the filling is lit with a special blue light that triggers the solidification. The optimal mechanical and chemical attributes of these aesthetic fillings have made a new dental restoration method available. Now, only a minimal amount of healthy tissue must be removed during cavity preparation. The combination of new adhesives and aesthetic fillings results in a strong chemical bond.
Tooth conservation treatment
In case of a far-flung cariosity of a tooth, the dental pulp may also be affected. In the initial status the tooth may be kept "alive", but later, when serious symptoms occur, root canal treatment (endodontia) or root canal filling must take place. Tooth conservation treatments are aimed to save the tooth from extraction, but in some cases this is not possible. If root of the tooth must be removed, it is replaced with a specific filling. Many people are afraid of root canal treatment, but this can also be done without any pain at all.
Inlay
If a large part of a tooth is missing, or must be removed, the best way to restore the tooth is to use a combination of plastic and solid fillings. Inlays are attached to the teeth by adhesion. They can be made of gold, porcelain or plastics. A well-prepared inlay, perfectly attached to the tooth will reduce the possibility of developing secondary caries.

5. Replacements, dentures
Crowns
If the head (natural crown) of a tooth is damaged, or must be removed, an artificial replacement must be made. The tooth is refined until it is cone-shaped, then an impression is taken and the new crown is made in a dental laboratory. The prepared denture is fixed onto the tooth. There are many types of crowns available, but the best are ceramo-metallic ones. These crowns have a metal framework that provides stability. This is covered with layers of porcelain veneer material to provide the most aesthetic and natural look possible. The crown protects the tooth from breaking. Crowns do not discolorate and last for a very long time if prepared and installed well. Procedure: At the consultation with the dentist abroad a detailed dental plan will be produced for you which will show you the exact itinerary of your stay. Your crowns will be prepared in 3-5 days after the consultation by the dental technician. The length of your stay is depending on the complexity of the technical work. So if you want to plan your stay carefully, please plan your dental holiday for at least five days.

Bridges
Bridges are replacements used to fill a large gap caused by multiple missing teeth. Unattended edentulous areas may lead to serious problems and should therefore be treated. The treatment should be done as soon as possible, because the teeth bordering the gap will shift out of position as time passes and this will make the restoration more complicated. Procedure: At the consultation with the dentist abroad a detailed dental plan will be produced for you which will show you the exact itinerary of your stay. Your bridge units will be prepared in 3-5 days after the consultation by the dental technician. The length of your stay is depending on the complexity of the technical work. So if you want to plan your stay carefully, please plan your dental holiday for at least five days.

Removable dentures
There are partial and full removable dentures. Nowadays these traditional replacements are used rarely, due to the many inconveniences they may cause. There are many much better ways to replace missing teeth.
Root pins, root canal pivots
An acrylic or titanium pin that is fixed into the root canal of a tooth supports these replacements. This method is mostly used in preparation of the replacement of a crown.
Combined solutions
If the remaining natural teeth make the preparation of a partial denture necessary, it is possible to combine removable and fixed replacement methods.

6. Periodontal treatments
Dental calculus removal (scaling)
Only a dentist can remove calculus (tartar). Subgingival tartar is removed by using hand-tools; others may be removed by special equipment, called ultrasonic scaler. The ultrasonic scaler generates vibrations that dislodge tartar. At the same time, water-cooling is applied to gather the removed dental stone. Removing tartar is very important in preventing periodontal diseases.
Polishing
After the scaling the teeth surfaces need to be thoroughly polished. This will provide the teeth with smooth shiny surfaces and will set back dental calculus redevelopment.
Gum treatment, gingival pocket treatment
In case of any gingival disease, the gum must be treated. This is vital in keeping you teeth in a good health state. Gingival pockets should be cleaned and treated by a dentist as soon as they are discovered. Untreated gingivitis and periodontal diseases can lead to the loss of your teeth.
Treating illnesses of other oral organs
There aren't only just teeth in your mouth. Other organs (tongue, mucous membrane, lips, mouth floor, etc.) need to be cared for as well.

Apicoectomy
If there is a focal infection near the root apex of a tooth, this focus must be removed after the root canal therapy. This requires oral surgery.
Correctional surgery
In some cases the surgical correction of the jawbone or the gingiva must take place before the replacement(s) can be successfully and firmly anchored.
Third molar removal
Third molars (wisdom teeth) can cause serious problems that are hard to treat. In many cases there is no other treatment available than to remove the defective third molar.

8. Pedodontia (children's dentistry)
Orthodontics
Orthodontics is the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental as well as skeletal abnormalities. Orthodontists often use corrective appliances (such as braces) to address irregularities in the patient. A wide variety of appliances are used to treat the most common problems including cross-bites, excessive spacing between teeth, crowding, improperly aligned teeth, and in young children, treatments to ensure proper jaw growth and permanent tooth eruption. The braces can be removable, or fixed.

9. Dental treatment under narcosis
By healthy adults, it is the fear of dentists (dentophobia) that may make this necessary. Most dental treatments can be done under narcosis, but this is not advised if not really necessary. The benefits and the risks of any medical treatment should be narrowly examined and narcosis has risks that should not be neglected! There are other, safer ways to minimize patient's fear and to distract their attention.

10. Oral hygiene
Brushing
Brushing your teeth is the single most important preventive measure that can be taken to prevent tooth decay and gum disease. Brushing with a toothbrush removes plaque from tooth surfaces that cause decay and gingivitis. Proper brushing can help maintain a healthy smile.
Brushing should take place at least two times a day, preferably in the morning after breakfast and at night before going to bed. Brushing after meals is also advantageous. The type of brush used should have soft bristles and have a small head. Only mild pressure should be used while brushing, aggressiveness causing large amounts of pressure can - over time - cause damage to tooth and gum tissues.
Flossing
Flossing is a method of preventive care that is used for the cleaning of surfaces between teeth. Flossing is a very important part of proper oral care and should be done at least once a day. Plaque that is not removed between the teeth by the toothbrush can be removed by flossing. Flossing can reduce or prevent cavities that arise between the teeth, plus it can stop the build up of tartar. This tartar build up can lead to the gum disease, which can lead to the more serious disease of periodontitis.
Dental visits
Regular dental visits are another great way to help prevent oral diseases. At dental visits, the dentist can assess how well the patient is cleaning their teeth at home, determine if there are any risk factors that may cause oral disease, try to eliminate these risk factors, place sealants, and use x-rays to determine if there are any areas that need to be observed. Regular dental visits are essential for a person to maintain a healthy oral state, and to ensure that at home preventive measures are being used properly.
Healthy diet
Diet can play a major role in oral health. Foods high in sugar and carbohydrates are the worst for teeth when it comes the development of decay. Bacteria in the mouth metabolize these sugars and during this process produce acid. The pH of the mouth therefore drops and causes demineralization of the enamel surfaces of the teeth. Over time, enough of this demineralization can cause a cavity to form. Foods low in sugars or that contain no sugars at all do not cause this acid production and pH levels stay in a healthy range.
Smoking
Tobacco use is not only a major risk factor in developing conditions such as cancer (including oral cancer), heart disease, hypertension, and emphysema; it is also the leading risk factor in developing periodontal (gum) disease. Popular tobacco products include cigarettes, pipes, cigars, and smokeless (chew, snuff, or plug). In addition, the ingredients in tobacco make treatments for periodontal disease more difficult and less likely to be successful because the mouth's ability to heal and fight infections is decreased. Smoking also accelerates the discoloration of the teeth.
