Ms. Jackson states, “I wrote the book because I saw two major barriers to the spread of Reiki around the world. One was physical. Many people cannot find a Reiki master. The second is financial. Many people cannot afford to pursue Reiki in depth with a master. My book allows sincere students to follow simple guidance and develop a relationship with themselves, the true Master.”

The book is one part of a global effort which began in 2000, when Reiki Masters, Carolyn Jackson and Rod Gordon, from two opposite ends of the planet, shared a vision to unite Reiki practitioners from all around the world in directing their energy and Reiki to healing the Earth. They hoped to bring about a greater human consciousness with the support of Reiki and its practitioners.

Their vision has been successful - with the creation of a wonderful project called Earthsend and its many offshoots. Earthsend is a weekly virtual coming together of over 800 Reiki practitioners who send healing energy to the Earth. These practitioners join as one every Friday from nearly every country on the planet.
